Description

Our client imanage and deliver building refurbishments and building projects for their clients in various sectors and are looking for a HSE Co-Ordinator to join the team.

The main role of the HSE Co-Ordinator will be to support the senior management in ensuring the company and all sites are fully compliant with UK law, and are adopting best practice standards. You will play a key part in establishing Health and Safety procedures and practices across the business, and ensuring they are fit for purpose as the business grows. Main roles & responsibilities include:

  • Implementation and management of safety and environment procedures, including but not limited to; risk assessments, accident investigations, internal audits, and induction training and Develop new procedures.
  • To act as an advisory point to all staff and managers on matters arising to Health, Safety & Environment
  • Provide input on ways to improve the companies environmental impact and waste reduction.
  • To keep abreast of the changing Health & Safety legislation and ensure the company remains compliant and that management discharge their duties effectively.
  • Work with various Site Managers to oversee on-site HSE.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven background in a similar role and industry
  • NEBOSH qualification preferred
  • Driving licence and use of vehicle - the position will involve some travel throughout the UK
  • Ability to work in a team and have confidence to have a positive impact on the company.
