A global organisation that is the industry leader in the heavy engineering sector is looking to recruit an EHS Manager. Based at the company’s facility in Nottingham you will provide process support to the HSE function in the specification, commissioning and developing of plant, processes and products, ensuring safe and economic operation.

The successful candidate will have a Manufacturing / Engineering background, hold strong Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH as a minimum), and ideally, be experienced within a COMAH environment.

EHS Manager Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Continually manage, update and review RAMS for business sites.
  • Provide solid Health & Safety advice, ensuring working practices are compliant throughout the business.
  • To improve, adapt and undertake Health & Safety training methods
  • To carry out regular site inspections and assessments to ensure correct Health & Safety policies and procedures are being properly implemented

EHS Manager Experience and Qualifications required:

  • NEBOSH General (minimum)
  • Manufacturing / Chemical Engineering experience
  • A hunger and passion to drive a positive Health & Safety culture
